An Observer From Up Above

Long ago, before the moon shinned bright amongst the stars, there was only the sun, who’d shed light upon the world. The sun illuminated the day, admiring the people taking in his light; however, this often caused him moments of extreme loneliness. The more he observed, the more he yearned to find a connection like those down below. What the people didn’t know was that the sun could take the shape of a human, but only at night once the sun had set. At night the sun's mortal vessel was a man with golden brown skin, chocolate-colored hair, and eyes that matched. If anyone approached him, he’d say his name was Sunne, though him running into people at night was hardly ever an occurrence. Out of all the places Sunne could roam, his favorite was the seashore due to its peaceful-sounding waves. One day while walking near the shore, Sunne noticed a woman who seemed to possess his eyes with her enchanting beauty.
